چکیده
Gully erosion is widespread in central China's ecologically fragile loess plateau. However, research on the monitoring and evaluation of large-scale scarce. Here, we collected 16 pairs Sentinel-1A images from rainy season, spanning April 5-October 26, 2019, subsidence then quantified its results can indirectly reflect intensity largest plateau China, Dongzhiyuan tableland, using small baseline subset synthetic aperture radar interferometry (SBAS-InSAR). The showed that, average rate was 9 mm/year, throughout study area, Surprisingly, gully reached 160 sides correspond to most extensive intense erosion. Heavy rainfall, slope gradients below 15°, changes groundwater levels due freeze–thaw action water infiltration during lack vegetation continued side erosion, drive These demonstrate reliable ability SBAS-InSAR method accurately assessing InSAR-calculated demonstrates a strong predictive capability for soil generally consistent with previously observed although much noise interference also occurs. Therefore, future sedimentation could be used as an indirect measure at multiple watershed scales.

Spatial Analysis on Surface Deformation by Soil Erosion in the Chinese Loess Plateau Using Insar Techniques
Monitoring the surface deformation over the loess hills could help us understand the dynamics of soil erosion, the extent of anthropogenic impacts, and the mitigation methods for the potential damage to local ecosystems, agricultural production, socioeconomic infrastructure, water quality, and air quality in the Loess Plateau and the surrounding areas. The objectives of this study were to compr...
متن کاملGully Erosion after Wildfire
Predicting runoff and erosion from watersheds burned by wildfires requires an understanding of the spatial structure of both hillslope and channel drainage networks. We investigate the small-scale and large-scale structures of drainage networks using field studies and computer analysis of 30-m digital elevation model. Topologic variables were derived from a composite 30-m DEM, which included 14...
متن کاملDetection of Catchment-Scale Gully-Affected Areas Using Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) on the Chinese Loess Plateau
The Chinese Loess Plateau suffers from serious gully erosion induced by natural and human causes. Gully-affected areas detection is the basic work in this region for gully erosion assessment and monitoring. For the first time, an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) was applied to extract gully features in this region. Two typical catchments in Changwu and Ansai were selected to represent loess tablel...
متن کاملThe Gully Erosion Effect On the Environment
The paper contains data about the destructive effects of gully erosion on the environment. It provides general information about the gully erosion in several countries around the world including Romania and is considered a case study for a river basin located in the Semenic Mountains (Bârzava drainage area). The case study is based on the following assumptions: the presence of different types o...
متن کاملA Comparison of Sbas and Ps Ers Insar for Subsidence Monitoring in Oslo, Norway
In this paper, we present the results achieved in the long-term subsidence project in Norway, ESA AO-1104, which have made use of ERS SAR data. By applying the differential SAR interferometry technique referred to as Small Baseline Subset (SBAS) approach to a test area covering the city of Oslo, Norway, we show significant subsidence in several areas of more than 5 mm/year in the time period 19...
